How To :
                The Trackstand

What is it?
The trackstand consists of the single most important thing in trials. Balance.
It is used when the rider, is getting ready to preform a trick or a drop etc, and needs his/her balance.

How do you do it?
When you have stopped moving, turn your handle bars at about a 45 degree angle from straight ahead of you. The direction usually counts on which foot is forward. If it is your left you would turn your bars to the right, and vice versa.
When you have turned the bars, the bike will drop slightly, so you would have to counter balance this with your body weight. Shift your body weight to the opposite side, making the weight equal. If you are falling, counter balance it.
