Backwheel Hop

How to:
             Backwheel hop

What is it?
The backwheel hop, is a vital trials move. Without being able to do this, you will not get very far as a trials rider. The move is when a rider hops on his rear wheel, using small controlled hops to stay in balance, and not move too much.
The point of this, is so you can get close to the ledge of a wall, and then forward hop off ( See forward hop in the How To section ).

How do you do it?
To do it the easy newbie way, ride a bit faster than you normally would for an endo, then pull an endo, using the momentum, from that, go backwards, onto the rear wheel. Keep going futher and further back, slowly, and when you think your going to fall off, jump off.
Then try it again, but just before you get to the point where you fall off, stop going backwards.
Now the hard part. The hopping.
If you can bunnyhop well, you'll have no real problem with doing this. When you are on the rear wheel, just bunny hop, forcing your body weight upwards, and seems so you're pulling the handlebars up, and the pedals with your feet, the bike will come up with you. If you are falling to the left, hop to the right and vice versa. Don't try and get really high. The idea of backwheel hopping, is not how high you can get, or how many you can do, it's to maintain balance.
